I've marked this year down as the one where I try and enter a number of races. I have picked some where I have ambitious goals, and others that I'll be running for the pure joy of it. The one race I have set as my "goal race" for the year is the Gold Coast Marathon, where I hope to run sub-3hrs...watch this space!

Feb 17 | Trial Bay Triathlon (This will be my first triathlon if I attempt it)
May 19 | Cooks Tour
Dec 8 | Kurrawa to Duranbah (If I run, I'll run the 50km)

I've also had a look ahead to 2014 as I have my eye on making the trek west to take part in the Outback Marathon in late July, and possibly tackling my first 100 km or 100 miler at the Glasshouse 100 on the second Sunday of September. These two are a long way off, but I've planted the seed and they're in the back of my mind!
