MY TAKE:

Great book. Really, really quality. This book gives a thorough background of how the body moves WHEN RUNNING, what range of motion (and strength through this range) we need WHEN RUNNING, common injuries seen WHEN RUNNING and the likely causes of said injuries.

In addition, the book provides a raft of tests aimed at identifying your specific weaknesses (in strength, mobility, flexibility and stamina) that could potentially lead to injury FOR YOU. Then, once you’ve done the tests and identified your weaknesses, it provides a myriad of exercises that target each of these.

For example, say I work through the tests and identify that I have tight calves and weak hamstrings, the book then outlines exercises specifically targeted to fixing these deficiencies.

Very cool. Very running specific. Well worth the money.
